  • This is a great work. It is my fervent hope that one day I will actually get to meet Corrine Kenner.

  • This book and the Meet-ups are an awesome tool for writers of all genres to awaken the creative mind and write. The book leads you to open yourself to the symbology of the tarot, and Corrine gives you an excellent framework to apply those symbols in a writing framework.

Using the methods here in this book, I was able– in 15 minutes– come up with a chapter framework and the first few pages of that chapter based on one card. ONE. It amazes me that I can do this, and believe me, if I can-you can!

Buy this book, get out your tarot cards, or buy a set, and get ready to write like never before.

  • TAROT FOR WRITERS tells how to interpret signals and myths, use classic tarot layouts to structure a story line, and how to link the creative writing process to tarot. From overcoming writer’s block to using tarot methods to tap into sources of inspiration, TAROT FOR WRITERS links the cards to myths, legends, and keywords leading to wellsprings of thought. Any library catering to either new age readers or creative writers will find it involving.

  • I pre-ordered this title when I saw it was coming out. The idea of having one book cater to my inner writer, and my outer Tarot reader was too good to be true.

I was really impressed with the size of this title! Three hundred fifty plus pages of information! Too many tarot books come out and have pictures but only minimal information, THIS is not the case with Kenner’s latest title.

The Book starts with information about Tarot as a medium, and how to read the cards, but it doesn’t stop there. The spreads that Kenner includes in the first part are not only contemporary, but Very informative. Learning to read Tarot AND using Tarot to help you build your story in ONE text.

The Chapters on Character creation and beating Writer’s Block are worth the price of admission. It is full of writing prompts to help get your Muse to start speaking to you again!

There is an illustration for each card, a bit about readings and story

ideas for each card on a standard Tarot deck.

I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Tarot OR writing!

There are pages for each card with information, Astrological Symbolism, Elemental Symbolism, meanings of the above, both upright and reversed, and story ideas for each card.
